Gorron is located on the borders of Pays de la Loire,Brittany and Normandy. The town is ideally located: approximately 1hour from Mont-Saint-Michel, 1h from Rennes, 1hr 50 from Caen and St Malo Ports, and at the foot of the Normandie-Maine Natural Park.
Gorron is renowned for its leisure, cultural and sports activities. Gorron forms part of Department 53, Mayenne where you will find 85km of towpaths along the River Mayenne ideal for hiking and riding, there are also 128km of old railway lines, 106km of which form part of the Velo Francette. The roads are also quiet and ideal for cycling.
